And now for the origins of YFU
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... wait...
Let's start over.
A couple weeks ago in Southern CT State University four girls met by total chance in the bookstore on Campus. Only a few days after that did three of these girls congregate in a dorm room to watch the wonderful Level-C. (Which RayRay proceeded to tear apart vocally) After much discussion, sex noises, and considerations of the Yaoi paddle that Nnie had obtained at Otakon 2004, the three decided to create their own orginization where yaoi fans would be allowed to roam free and graze in the feild of pretty bishie boys, and all was good.
A few days after the founding of YFU the three met up with the fourth once more, and while FAKE played on the screen in the background the four placed their hands on the Yaoi paddle and yelled "Yaoi!" really loud because they couldn't figure out what else to do and they were getting bored of just sitting there going "uhm..." and trying to figure out what to say.
Now they are searching for more members from their college to join in order to try and create an official club. With frequent viewings of different anime in the cafeteria via laptop and readings of different manga out on the quad, they hope to attract more members.
We have had one success so far.
Hopefully, the two other members (the old and the new) will join this message board in the near future.
In the meantime, we ask YOU to join. Yes, YOU! Sitting there behind your computer screen with yaoi scanlations saved to your computer or perhaps burned to a disk, listening to your Gravitation soundtrack on repeat, and searching for pics from your favourite yaoi/shounen-ai/slashable series at the moment. Your mission is to join this message board and have the time of your life while you try to institute your own YFU in your own college/highschool/workplace!
YFU shall spread throughout the nation, making everyone realize how wonderful the world of yaoi really is, helping more people become more open minded, and basically making the world a better place for homosexuals, crossdressers, transgenders, and basically anyone else I may have forgotten to include.
Yay for YFU!
